FUTSAL DEFENSIVE ACTIONS: Vol.1 - Opponent without a Ball
There are several factors, which make a defensive player act one way or another. First off all it’s the location of the ball. Second - positioning of opponents and team mates on the pitch. Third - the status of an opponent (with the ball, without the ball, about to receive the ball etc.)
This book is structured in a way, so the reader could be getting into all the details of individual and team defensive actions step by step. The main focus of this book is defensive actions in situations, when you have to defend against an opponent’s player, who doesn’t have the ball. In my opinion, this is the topic to start from, when learning about defensive actions in futsal.
In each section of the book we will be concentrating on main tactical aspects, then - on small nuances. Each section will also provide illustrated examples for better understanding of the topic. Last by not the least - in those cases, where it is necessary, I will provide additional exercises, so you could get better by practicing certain things.
Defensive actions in futsal can be split to 3 main stages:
1. Opponent without the ball
2. Opponent is about to receive the ball (the ball is already moving towards a player, but he yet to make a contact with it)
3. Opponent is already has the ball in his possession
This first ebook (“Futsal Defensive Actions - Volume 1) will be concentrating on explaining situations, when the opponent (opposing player) doesn’t have the ball. But let’s not rush into anything and take it slowly.
By the way, I would recommend to work with this book without any hurry, but instead - take it topic by topic. This way the material will be absorbed way better. In the future you will be able to get back to certain parts of this book as soon as you have certain problem.
